Blended Learning Design Blog Series

toolkit

Three members of the Instructional Technology team, Diane Creede, Jessica McCullough and Laura Little, have enrolled in a 5-week course, Becoming a Blended Learning Designer.” This massive open online course (or MOOC) offers its 2,469 (!) students from around the world suggestions and strategies for effectively shifting some components of traditional face-to-face courses to an online environment. Our posts will serve two purposes: to share what we are learning with the campus community, and to help keep us engaged with the course. Another compelling reason to share is that these posts are part of our homework!

We hope that you will enjoy reading our thoughts and questions about blended learning. Should you decide to become a fellow student, don’t forget to let us know.
